John Adams Theibert Jr. has been writing science fiction and fantasy for nearly 20 years. He is also a board game inventor and has been developing games for 15 years. He has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Georgia Tech, which he acquired in 2001. He has been happily married for nearly 4 years and lives in Parkersburg, WV.

John's writing has been inspired by authors such as Douglas Adams, J.R.R. Tolkien, H.P. Lovecraft, and Michael Ende.

John compares these 10 elements to 10 classical elements of fantasy or mythology: Air, Fire, Water, Earth, Spirit, Mist, Bone, Wood, Metal, and Shadow, respectively.
